Hua Hin is one of the most famous beaches in Thailand, as it is the summer residence of the king. Along the beach there are numerous hotels and in the city center there are plenty of markets and shopping. The sea has some surf on the main beach, so you should supervise children while bathing. Hua Hin is ideal for family holidays. Here is the Black Mountain Water Park (one of the largest water parks in Thailand) and a zoological garden.

Cha Am is located in the neighboring province of Petchaburi on the Gulf of Thailand, about 170 km from Bangkok. On the northern part of the beach is a small fishing village with harbor and some fish restaurants. Near the highway, between Hua Hin and Cha Am is the Cha Am Forest Park. This park is natural and provides a habitat for some birds and wildlife. Cha Am is suitable for holidays with the whole family. Here there is the Santorini Park and the Santorini Water Park and very close to the Khao Nang Phanthurat Forest Park.

Beaches

Hua Hin Beach
Beautiful sandy beach with surf and breeze from the sea. There is always a bit of wind here, so that it can endure very well.

Khao Tao
Along the Khao Tao hill stretches a small sandy beach (only about 10 km from Hua Hin). The beach is wooded with pines and is guarded by a large Buddha statue. Here it is much quieter than in Hua Hin.

Cha Am Beach
The beach is a bit quieter than in Hua Hin and perfect for families. The stream divides into a northern and southern part, the north beach is a broad, fine sandy beach with shallow shore water and the south beach has only a narrow sandy area. The southern part is a bit rockier and is usually used by Thais
